HI! I'M MISS TONYA!
Owner of Inspired Achievers Academy
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on Child Psychology. My experience includes teaching Pre-K at AVANCE-Head Start, and I am a Texas Certified ESL & Reading Teacher for grades 4-8. I have a true passion for working with early childhood learners as an Infant and Toddler Specialist.
Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures their growth in a positive, fun environment.
When I'm not teaching, my family and I enjoy walks to the park, road trips, and barbecuing. I'm a member of TXAEYC, Zeta Phi Beta, NAEYC, and a Certified Texas Healthy Child-Care Consultant.
My favorite part of teaching is seeing my students' eyes light up when they grasp a new concept. It's so magical! I truly feel that teaching is my calling in life, and I can't wait to teach your little one. I can't wait to meet you!
